Any idea what this may mean?

I do a certificate in counelling at night cl.I am alo a model and the fellow girl on my cla find thi hard to comprehend,and they don't take me seriouly.although I have my english degree and am not stupid.One girl will make light off me and look at the others to laugh.Tonight I went and had my hair done before I went in,I een them look at me and for the firt time they avoided me on the tea break.why i this?
