Stepmother's rights in New Mexico?

My ex husband, father of my four children, recently ped away. I do believe that keeping some relationship with their stepmom is important to their healing, but how much is necessary? She is trying to dictate to me when they will come (she is telling me she wants them every other weekend, and what time on Thanksgiving, so far. Who knows what is next.) Can she do this??
