Why is the US the only developed nation that does not have universal health care?

Are you kidding? Canada's health system has gone bankrupt every year, and they have had to supplement each year since its inception. Consider the size of Canada, and then the size of the US, and then think about the millions of illegals being supported by the US medical system, and you'll have to realize that outfitting the US with universal health care is not nearly the same thing.
