Can an lpn administer narcotics in a home health setting?

Depends on the state, what state are you in? In ohio, LPN's can administer anything that is po, sq, im, and IV antibiotics. No IV narcs. So narcotic po pills would be acceptable. Narcotic IM shots would also be acceptable, but remember, every state is different and this if for the state of Ohio.
