Tired of being broke, living paycheck to check. need help cutting costs?

ok my bills are like this. car note- $360. (06 dodge stratus) insurance- $277(got points on license, student loan- $325 (in a rehab program to get it outta default. that really f'd me up). rent- $825, cell phone- turned off right now. bill is 500 to get turned back on. cable- $100. gas- $100 a week. and of course regular ultites .now i live with my girl and 2 kids ages 4 and 2. since i make about 66% of the income. i pay that much of the bills. what can i cut out so we can save more money? i wish i could get rid of this car. so far im leaning towards 1)taking defensive driving so i can lower my insurance. 2)getting the comcast triple play $99 for phone, internet and cable. 3)taking public transportation to work. i take my girl to work also. from our house to her job is 8.85 miles. from the house to my job is 8.82 miles. im just getting frustrated. its like whenever i get paid, i have to put away like 200 bucks just to survive. income for me is 2200 per mth. hers is 800 mth
