Why is the vein graft reversed in Cardiac Coronary byp surgery?

Veins have one-way valves in them to allow blood to flow against gravity in a low-pressure system. It would hardly do to place a vessel for improved circulation and leave inside it an obstruction that would keep blood from flowing.
