What firearms would be good incase an attack by a drug cartel?

Im thinking of moving to mexico, my home country, in a few years. I want to be prepared to fight for my small ranch town so it wont be overthrown by drug wars. You can name any type of firearm you think would help me im sure i can acquire it. Thank you all. Wish me luck.
