Is True Science ,to say that something has to start from somewhere? Are scientists violating their principals?
The most fundamental precept of science is causality. In science Nothing happens without a cause and nothing exists without an origin. And that origin, being an event, must have had a pre-existing cause. Science by definition is the study of the natural universe in natural terms. Therefore, by science's own definitions, the cause of the origin of the universe must have been something outside the purview of science. Therefore something that was not natural and was not subject to the laws of nature and of science. Which is why we refer to that promordial cause as supernatural.
