Interview for an access to Social work course :O?

I have an interveiw tomorrow for a social work course i am already near the end of my course just now ( intro to care) and its the same lecturers doing it. The thing is i have missed out alot due to medical and family issues but have managed to catch up. I really want to get into this course but I feel like they think im not motivated enough. What can i do to show them im really interested and will out 100% into the course unlike i did the previous year. How can i big myself up as they say without sounding cheesey? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
