Twinges in my eye and arm? what is this? is it normal?

i was thinking lack of sleep is causing this tingle in my eye. its really strong. i also get a twinge in my thumb that travels up to my chin. before i go to the doctor, i want to know if anyone has heard of these two things. thanks.
