Why dont i get high when i smoke weed?

i live in alaska and it is legal to smoke weed, just not sell. but i smoke weed with my friends, and i just dont get high. i get drunk alot. and i can feel it. but i can smoke alot of weed and i dont feel anything... am i not smoking enough? i smoke as much as my friends, and they get blitzed nd i dont feel anyhting. whats going on???
