Will an increase in clomid make me ovulate faster?

I am on my second cycle of clomid. The first time I had 50mg and I ovulated without a trigger shot but it was on CD 21 and my follicle was only 18MM. This time they put me on 100mg. Will it make me ovulate quicker or have a larger follicle perhaps?
